Winterizing
All irrigation systems need to be prepared for winter. We have our clients on a list and call them in October to arrange a winterizing appointment. The water supply to the irrigation system is disabled. We connect a large air compressor is to the sprinkler system and blow all the water out. Too much pressure is dangerous to anyone in the area as well as irrigation system components can be damaged. Too little pressure will cause some freezing in the irrigation system causing breakage during the winter.
If you have a pump system, we will remove the suction from the lake. We will drain the pumps and fill them with plumbing anti-freeze. We use only Certified Irrigation Technicians.
